Dehumanization In Nothern Ireland In Frank Mccourt's Angela's Ashes

There is only one problem which is discussed in this research, 1) How is Dehumanization represented in Frank Mccourt’s Angela’s Ashes.The object and primary data used in this research is Angela’s Ashes’s Novella. In doing the process of the research, the researcher uses sociology of literature, especially dehumanization as the main theory.The method applied in this research is qualitative approach. The object of this research is Frank Mccourt’s Angela’s Ashes and the data sources are the text and diologue in the novella.
In this research, the researcher finds the elements of how people treat each other and how people’s relation in industrial society in Irelandwhich are represented the real dehumanization through the novella, including the dehumanization of Protestant people toward Chatolics poeple, dehumanization of Goverment toward Chatolics people,dehumanization in school area, dehumanization in work area, dehumanization between different race, and dehumanization in family and dehumanization doctor to the patient.
