Hubungan pola asuh orang tua dengan perilaku peserta didik kelas VII SMP Negeri Karangkobar kabupaten Banjarnegara tahun pelajaran 2014/2015

The purposes of this research are : 1) To determine parenting parents of students of class VII SMP Negeri 1 Karangkobar Banjarnegara 2014/2015 school year, 2) To study the behavior of students of class VII SMP Negeri 1 Karangkobar Banjarnegara school year 2014/2015 , 3) To determine the relationship between parenting behavior of parents with students of class VII SMP Negeri 1 Karangkobar Banjarnegara school year 2014/2015.
This research is qualitative researh, it means that the research procedure produce data which is describe in numbers. The researcher processed data with statistical methods, the data in the form of qualitative data, in the form of numbers. In writting this final project, I use qualitative research which is conducted using descriptive method, which is started with collecting data, analysing data and interpreting data. The purpose of those steps are to make a description of the events that occurred during the study.
Parents are the primary educators for children, because from their parents they get education for the first time. In other words, the first education came from the family. Educate children properly means that parents support the children totality of potential naturally.The cildren’s physical and spiritual potiontial are attempeted to grow and develop in harmony. Today, many parents believe that when their children once handed over to the teachers at the school it means that they do not have rights and obligaton to give their children education, all of the responsibilities have been taken over by the teacher. Surely this is a wrong assumption because teacher cold only keep an aye on their students for few hours, whereas the rest time is spent in their home. Although the child was sent to school, educating children is not entirely the responsibility of the teacher but as perents should keep educating and directing their children to make them have a good behaviour. Because of the general responsibility of parenting is the duty of both parents. Most of busy parents do not give enough caring to their children, it makes some students have less good behaviour.
From the analysis of the hypothesis test is known that the correlation coefficient with the moment that person tangkar rxy = 0.551> rt = 0.291 and r xy = 0.551> rt = 0.376. With rxy> rt (0.05 and 0.01) means significant, so that the results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between the way of parenting with the behavior of seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Karangkobar Banjarnegara school year 2014/2015.
